Thanks!

That was very "Sweet" . . . I know you you got the reference.

I remember HotD and I were swapping Allman Brothers appreciation stories, eons ago.

I miss her.

One of my favorite songs. Wonder where Dickie ran into Sky. Not your sister by any chance? Smiley_emoticons_wink

RE: Music - Donovan - 01-30-2023

Whatever happened to HotD anyway?

RE: Music - Donovan - 01-30-2023

Also, since this is a music thread, I really kinda like these Grateful Dead fellas. They could go places...

(I was at this show and the following night. Not strictly GD but I guess about half of them are less Grateful, more Dead these days. Anyway, the shows blew me away. Good times)

She got disgusted by my constant belly rubbing requests.

I think she choose to leave rather than have daily confrontations with the Covid deniers and those stuck up trump's ass who she normally liked. It's been a couple years now. I miss her, she's one of my favorite people I've met online. I like everything about her. Beauty, brains & boobs. Reading both of you doing your back & forth was always fun and I miss that too.

The-powers-that-be are saying that more pandemics are incoming, and will require multiple vaccinations for each and every one. It's a wet dream for those who wield emergency powers and have the media in their pocket.

I miss her too. Odd that you never saw the two of us online in the same place. Almost as if...nah. Couldn't be.

I heard jesu heart of mans desiring on the radio recently. As with classical music quality varies depending on whos doing it.

My forty year old recording is a master piece and i never tire of it.

There's a fukton of GD tribute bands these days.    Dead & Co is one of the better ones, mainly because they have 3 members of the original GD band.  If you really like that type of music, you should head over to Brunswick,  Maine in August for the Grateful Campout.   4 days of dead tribute bands,  some local and some national.

It's held at Thomas point beach Campground,   so there's actual real toilets and showers,  huge campsites,  campfires on the beach,  food vendors,  and they go around on golf carts selling ice and firewood.   It's my favorite festival venue in maine.

RE: Music - Donovan - 02-01-2023

I'm guessing my gf has been there and if there is anything going on of note we will get there. I'm in the Finger lakes of NY so it ain't a terrible long way. Dead and Co is her favorite because Bobby *sigh* ❤️. But she also likes Joe Russo's Almost Dead, Wolf Brothers, and Phil Lesh's outfit. I gotta admit I like their lyrics much better than I would have thought. We are doing three shows in Boulder this summer that was supposed to be a much bigger trip involving the Gorge in Washington also, but the car wreck kinda sa otaged things.

Edit: in case it wasn't apparent, the GF is in love with Bobby Weir, not yours truly. Fairly certain that dude gives her the screaming thigh sweats and is a Septugenarian totally capable of snaking my woman without much effort...

Your gf likes 'em older, huh?  Good thing for you that Weir has been married since '99 hah

RE: Music - cannongal - 02-01-2023

Also,  have the gf check out a group called "Summer Jam and the Grateful Campout " on Facebook.   It has all the latest information on dates, times,  prices,  and band lists.
