Tis true. I sit home day after day, night after night, with my imaginary little girl and long for a social life. I yearn for friends & family, but alas, all we have are the neighborhood librarians.

You have me Duchess, i have no ulterior motive apart from the usual. I dont know why im attracted to you, thinking about it there is an air of secrecy, mystery about you. Do you have secrets?, not that you would tell.

Trust me, you know you can. Are you a volcano of unrequited need, ready to blow like a liquidiser with the top off?. I reckon so, that all you need is to light the touchpaper. I suspect it wont happen in this life, as you are specialised. Let me guess though, ......yes, that will be it.

I don't know if I would call them secrets, that seems too strong a word. I've never been someone who over shares my life, and besides, who would be interested. I like my life, but it's not what I would call interesting.

No, I'm not a volcano of unrequited need. I'm indifferent at best. What do you mean by calling me specialized?

RE: Tales from the Frontline: Online Dating - Piglet - 04-28-2023

Specialised is another word for complicated, i have a vast network of programmes, if thats the word for it, built up over countless years. If we spent an hour together all i would have to do is listen, my intuition speaks volumes, to me, and i would hunt you down psychologically with the right questions. You would of course have to avail yourself to me. My trick would be empathy, that on an intimate level you would understand that i understood.

Because i would demonstrate that. Then you would open up because you knew im getting it. Voila!. And that is a rare thing, i do it all the time, its part of my personality, ive been born with it.

I think your dissapointed with life, if thats the right word. Like me, and you take what enjoyments you can.

Disappointed? I am someone who believes that life is what one makes it and I never, evah think that anyone else is responsible for my happiness. That's a choice I make for myself on a daily basis.

I'm not a complicated individual, Piggy. I lead a mostly quiet life. I have a small circle of friends both in life & online and they are all people I have known for years.

Unfortunately being da boss you cant upset anyone in case they stop posting, i think thats the complication, your true soul is unknown, here anyway.

RE: Tales from the Frontline: Online Dating - Duchess - 05-02-2023

Oh brother.  78 Like that's ever stopped me.

RE: Tales from the Frontline: Online Dating - Piglet - 05-03-2023

I know how sensitive you are, how kind hearted, tolerant, how honest.

RE: Tales from the Frontline: Online Dating - Duchess - 05-03-2023

RE: Tales from the Frontline: Online Dating - Duchess - 05-03-2023

I recently heard that lavender haze is a term for being in love. How quaint.

RE: Tales from the Frontline: Online Dating - BigMark - 05-03-2023

I think he is really nice and has done well and people seem to like him also.

Table set and a great meal for you!  And believes in the right to "bare arms".

Yup.  Definitely worth a second go-around!

Glad you took a chance and lived to post about about it!

Respect to you, sister!

I had to wade through a lot of pages to get back to this!

2 months later and we are still just flirting. But last night we got to sit next to each other and I could hardly contain myself. And then he told me I smelled nice. And someone was talking about well drilling and he made a joke and I was looking up well drilling this morning and got so turned on I had to find the fountain. So now I'm good.

Have you ever been physically attracted to someone, but not mentally attracted to them? Do you go for it anyway? I usually regret it. I like mental attraction over physical, it always works better for me.

RE: Tales from the Frontline: Online Dating - MirahM - 06-02-2023

Certainly not. Use your own discretion and judgement FSS(For Safety Sake)! You're not a whore. You're a good bad girl.

How else are you going to avoid offending people?

You can't avoid offending people no matter how many showers you take or deodorant you spray on. Most people can find the flimsiest excuse to be offended.
