I don't see Minneapolis having a good ending with no cops to enforce anything. I also have a hard time believing that this is what the majority wants. The evil side of me says "go ahead get rid of the cops" but my conscience says WTF. I just do not see any cops willing to hang out in a place that say's they don't want them. I would be gone and working at some other place but that's me.
They really should think about it but the politicians don't seem to have a backbone, although the governor was made to walk the frog march the other day and mob mentality is the hit of the day I guess. I feel as though something else is pushing this.

Those asshole cops in Buffalo NY to a man supported the bigger asshole that shoved the 75 year old man so hard, he cracked his head open on the pavement. Now those guys should all get fired but replace them with cops that actually pass a mental health evaluation so that shit doesn't happen again. And take away their military toys, they don't need tanks and grenade launchers. Militarizing the cops was a horrible idea.
