I just find that the IDEA of having certain things is better than the actual process. Owning a big house is great...until you pay the taxes, bills and upkeep. Nice car? Cool until you spend every waking moment on its upkeep. Pool? Cleaning and maintenance.
I understand the process and concept of the acquisition of money. I get the stock market. But I lack that fundamental drive guys who are successful that way all seem to have. I simply don't really care enough to chase money.
Plus this may come as a shock to some, but I have been known to be somewhat impolitic, irreverent and possessed of an acerbic temper that works against my forward advancement on the political ladder.

You seem to be devolving financially. If i was your age and I found myself having to bum money to buy sweeties for halloween and pay for petrol in fucking piles of change I would have to ask myself the question “what the hell do you think you are doing with your life cinnamon nimrod?”
I will be thinking about you turning your sofa upside down to look for pennies while me and my family are cruising the Fjords of Scandanavia this summer. That's where we're going instead of Egypt this year.
