RE: ELECTION 2020 - BigMark - 06-24-2020 Yup, got the rifle out of the safe where it was unloaded with a trigger lock. Someone steals your unlocked gun you will go to prison here. RE: ELECTION 2020 - Duchess - 07-02-2020 The George W Bush Super PAC is suspending all operations with the GOP as long as trump is in the running and are devoting all funds & resources into getting Joe Biden elected! Republicans working to get the Democratic nominee elected! Go, trump, go! RE: ELECTION 2020 - Maggot - 07-02-2020 A great article from national review that was in Yahoo for some reason until it was taken down for being critical of Biden. It is an excellent read. The strategies of Dementia politics RE: ELECTION 2020 - Rootilda - 07-02-2020 William F. Buckley Jr. would be spinning in his grave if he saw what his magazine had turned into. RE: ELECTION 2020 - Maggot - 07-02-2020 Does reading a truthful article "trigger" you? RE: ELECTION 2020 - Duchess - 07-02-2020 The National Review is not a legitimate news source. It ranks up there with the Gateway Pundit and Daily Caller. RE: ELECTION 2020 - Maggot - 07-02-2020 You forgot MSN and the Enquirer and don't forget the N.Y. Times. It was just an opinion pc anyways. RE: ELECTION 2020 - HairOfTheDog - 07-08-2020 Last week, rapper/designer/preacher Kanye West announced that he's running for President in 2020, with Elon Musk now being touted as his advisor. He's been talking about running in 2024 for years, but said he had an epiphany in the shower that he should go for it this year. 5 years ago, I would have considered 'Kanye West for President' a joke and an impossible reality. I still think it's highly unlikely that West could become President of the US, but not impossible. Anyway, I hope very few Americans will vote for him or write his name in if he doesn't make it on ballots. He's batshit, in my opinion, and I'd rather not see him affect the election. Here's more about his announcement and his positions on some issues: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8501091/Kanye-West-breaks-ranks-Trump-vows-win-U-S-presidential-race-Forbes.html RE: ELECTION 2020 - cannongal - 07-08-2020 (07-08-2020, 08:29 AM)HairOfTheDog Wrote: Last week, rapper/designer/preacher Kanye West announced that he's running for President in 2020, with Elon Musk now being touted as his advisor. Is he still married to Kim? I wonder if they'll film keeping up with the Kardashians from the oval office. Should be a hoot. RE: ELECTION 2020 - HairOfTheDog - 07-08-2020 Yep, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are still married. RE: ELECTION 2020 - Duchess - 07-08-2020 I think Kanye is a freaky bag of hot air. His mother in law won't take kindly to him fuckin' with the Kardashian brand. I think the filing deadline is either very close or has passed, I'm unsure which. It's a full time job keeping up with all these fuckers. RE: ELECTION 2020 - Rootilda - 07-08-2020 I think the dates are different per state, he's missed the deadline for at least 10 of them, I believe. RE: ELECTION 2020 - Maggot - 07-08-2020 Will all the Nwords vote for him? RE: ELECTION 2020 - Maggot - 07-08-2020 i have a feeling Biden will back down from the debates. The ground is rumbling. RE: ELECTION 2020 - Duchess - 07-08-2020 Have you seen trump try to talk about anything in a coherent manner lately? RE: ELECTION 2020 - Maggot - 07-08-2020 (07-08-2020, 05:17 PM)Duchess Wrote: Have you seen trump try to talk about anything in a coherent manner lately? He has quite a ways to go to get to Bidens level of dementia but thanks for reminding me. Do you think Biden will make it to a debate? I'm betting that there will be lots of goalposts to climb over to get to that point but that's just my guess. It is progressing fast so time will tell. I kinda feel bad his handlers are putting him through this. RE: ELECTION 2020 - Duchess - 07-09-2020 trump won't show up for the debates, Maggot. Prepare yourself, I intend to be even more insufferable than I am now. RE: ELECTION 2020 - Rootilda - 07-10-2020 Confused about mail-in vs absentee ballots? Alexandra Petri is here to help! You may be wondering: What is the difference, exactly, between absentee ballots (a great way to vote) and mail-in voting (shouldn’t be allowed)? Wonder no longer! An absentee ballot is sent in the mail, whereas a mail-in vote is mailed in. Sending ballots in the mail is famously secure, but mailing in votes is ripe for all kinds of fraud and confusion. An absentee ballot is filled out in pen or pencil, whereas a mail-in vote is filled in with ink or graphite. Already you see how different the two are, and how much riper for fraud one is. An absentee ballot is placed in an envelope, whereas a mail-in vote is enclosed in an envelope. The difference in security should be obvious. An absentee ballot must be signed, whereas a mail-in vote requires a signature. An envelope containing an absentee ballot must be closed securely, while an envelope containing a mail-in vote must be sealed. On an absentee ballot, a voter marks their preferred candidates, but on a mail-in vote, a voter fills in the ballot to indicate the candidates of their choice. An absentee ballot is cast by a Republican, whereas a mail-in vote is sent by a Democrat. https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2020/04/09/difference-between-absentee-ballots-voting-by-mail/ RE: ELECTION 2020 - Duchess - 07-10-2020 I debated with myself over acknowledging this or not, I want to see who gets argumentative about it and I don't want to ruin that. RE: ELECTION 2020 - Clang McFly - 07-10-2020 My Facebook friend says us Democrats only want mail in votes so dead people and illegals can vote against Trump. I said Republicans don't want mail in votes because they're harder to tamper with and will result in more votes against Trump. |
