We can't have Donald Trump representing the United States for christssake. My God.

...it would be like having Paris Hilton as the FLOTUS or Kim Kardashian as Secretary of State. That shit is embarrassing, more embarrassing

Embarassing to who? The U.S.?

Embarrassing to anyone who thinks (in the U.S. or outside the U.S.) Even the UK is thinking about banning him from their country. Now that is really pathetic. In reality, he would not be welcome in most countries IMO....Mark my words, he will never be President of the USA.

Embarrassing to me and other Americans who feel as I do. Trump is a circus act.

I missed the speech because I fell asleep. Smiley_emoticons_slash

Seriously? hah

RE: Presidential race 2016 - Donovan - 01-13-2016

Trump is carrying an awful lot of the uneducated, mid-american closet racist vote, and somehow an awful big chunk of the scared-of-boogeymen old people vote. The old people scare me most, because they DO vote. A lot.

RE: Presidential race 2016 - Maggot - 01-13-2016

There's still a ways to go yet. Hillary could be in jail by then. hah

You may be right, but if you notice at his campaign stops where he spews his shit, there are certainly a lot of middle age white males in his "we love Trump," audience. Rednecks, KKK members, hillbillies, maybe? Does the Republican party even like him?

Like I said in an earlier post, England is still considering banning him from their country. Trump fired back that he would take all his money out of the UK. Could he act more like a little boy having a tantrum?

I do know some old people, though, who think he would be ideal President, so I am a thinkin' it is a mixed bag.....(his followers).....

I'm not seeing anyone who is running for POTUS who is worthy. Nobody. I'm grateful that at the end of the day that no matter who it turns out to be they won't have any direct impact on my life. The day after the election will be just like the day before it.

A US spokesperson said that Navy ship drifted into Iranian waters, to me that would imply it was their fault and yet Ted Cruz blusters that he would never tolerate our soldiers being taken the way they were. His response was "any nation that captures our fighting men and women will feel the full force and fury of the United States of America.' What would he do, bomb them? Start a war? Jesus Christ.

...and Christie jabs a finger at the camera as if he is addressing Obama face to face and says, 'We are going to kick your rear end out of the White House come this fall'. Is he unaware of term limits? Hahaha. Now I think he's just another dumbass.

RE: Presidential race 2016 - Duchess - 01-15-2016

...aaaaaand, what is it with the second tier debate. Have they no pride? No matter what I had to say I just don't think I could suck it up enough to swallow my pride and participate in that.

RE: Presidential race 2016 - Duchess - 01-15-2016

I just saw this headline - Donald Trump Surges To New High In Polls.

WTF! hah

RE: Presidential race 2016 - Maggot - 01-15-2016

This is starting to remind me of the Obama election.

RE: Presidential race 2016 - Duchess - 01-15-2016

I swear I thought that just the other day. I thought this must be like what all those Republicans felt when blacks were coming out in droves to support him.

It really wasn't his skin it was his extreme liberal views. He was the most liberal Senator on capitol hill. Black guys can be assholes too.

RE: Presidential race 2016 - Duchess - 01-18-2016

Does Donald Trump really believe that climate change is a hoax invented by the Chinese? 28

Aww crap. I'm going to have to take the time to verify that.

RE: Presidential race 2016 - Duchess - 01-18-2016

Smiley_emoticons_skeptisch Holy shit, He DID tweet that.

PROOF!

RE: Presidential race 2016 - Maggot - 01-18-2016

I like what Hillary said at the debate last night " There should be no bank to big to fail, and no individual to powerful to jail" Smiley_emoticons_smile

RE: Presidential race 2016 - Donovan - 01-18-2016

English Parliament is formally debating whether to ban Trump from England for hate speech today.

RE: Presidential race 2016 - Maggot - 01-18-2016

If he spoke Farsi there would be no problem.

RE: Presidential race 2016 - Duchess - 01-19-2016

Does any President have the ability to impose a tariff on manufacturers? Can a President force companies to manufacture their goods in the United States? I know we've had Presidents do things that the people don't agree with but I'm wondering just how far their power extends.

RE: Presidential race 2016 - HairOfTheDog - 01-19-2016

The formal nomination process kicks off soon.

The Iowa caucuses start week after next. Clinton currently leads Sanders by 25 points for the Democrats, and Trump and Cruz are pretty much neck and neck for the Republican vote.

New Hampshire is a different story. Democratic New Hampshirites are increasingly loving the shit outta Bernie Sanders. He's now up 27 points over Clinton and the primaries are only 3 weeks away. Donald Trump has a strong lead with New Hampshire Republicans.

History shows that the winners in NH and Iowa don't often end up being the winners nationally. But, I think candidates from both parties who've been struggling to hit double digit support will start looking to cut their losses and throwing in the towel if they get their assess kicked in NH and Iowa; kinda the line in the sand.

I'm looking forward to having fewer candidates in the race by March.

RE: Presidential race 2016 - username - 01-20-2016

I'm absolutely dumbfounded that Trump continues to lead polls. He got Palin's endorsement. It makes me dislike him even more but she (also stunning to me) has a big following. I really wanted to consider a Republican candidate but I'd chew off my own fingers before casting a vote for Chump.
