I take issue with the Cowboys at 5 while you have me at 9. Dramaqueen

They're coming off 4 straight wins while your club just dropped one (albeit kind of controversial).

I know they earned it, I was raggin' on you.

Johnson's suspension was upheld. The ride is going to get bumpy now for sure.

I heard. Who's going to replace him? I haven't had time to read any sports.

Thanks!

His name is a mouthful. I hope he's everything the coaches seem to think he is.

That's why I cut and pasted the link hah He's a big boy, but expect the usual rookie mistakes. There's a reason he was on the scout team IMO.

I'd sure hate to think of Crash as some sort of front-running Packer fan.

They got a serious beat down put on 'em yesterday.

Hope the Cheesehead didn't get thrown in the trash, Crash?

RE: NFL 2016 - Midwest Spy - 10-17-2016

How about this for a scheduling quirk:

The Eagles get the Vikings and Cowboys next on their schedule, and each team will be coming off their bye-week.

BTW: Cowboys @ Vikings is a Thursday Night game. December 1st.

The 'Boys look real solid.

RE: NFL 2016 - Duchess - 10-17-2016

I keep reminding myself it's still only October.

RE: NFL 2016 - Midwest Spy - 10-18-2016

Our local SportsTalk radio station had Tony Bruno on today to talk Eagles/Vikings.

He sounded fairly optimistic about this weekend.

I'll admit, I'm nervous about Sunday.

The bye can be tough to overcome. If we start slow, it could be a long day.

With Lane gone, Your defense is going to eat Wentz often. The new kid couldn't fill Lane's shoes against the redskins, so they put Ertz next to him to help him out. That takes Ertz off the table to do what he does best. put up points, so I don't think the vikes will have a problem at all.

You ain't kiddin'!

I boo'ed a young guy wearing a Lane Johnson jersey. I was in a check-out line and he was a cashier right behind me. I did it nicely with a smile but I blame Lane for all the time Carson spent on his ass Sunday.

If you get to watch the game this week, watch our safety's, Harrison Smith and Andrew Zendejo. They are old school, Ronnie Lott-type, hitters.

They put the hurt, cleanly, on receivers and ball carriers.

Oakland's stud WR, Amari Cooper, took a shot from Smith early in our game last year, and he was a non-factor the rest of the way.

Zimmer has this D playing fast, and hitting hard.

I doubt I will. I'm not going to spend the money at a bar to watch my boys get their asses handed to them. hah

I don't want to get our asses handed :(

It's going to be a tough year...

It's going from Go-Pack-Go to No, Pack, NO!

My Favre jersey is still safe in storage though.

Hard for me to hate on Brett.

A true Gamer, in every sense of the word, plus he had an unbelievable season for us in 2009.

Pack looked decent tonight, but the Bears are miserable.

Good to see you're still checking in from time to time!

RE: NFL 2016 - Midwest Spy - 10-23-2016

Good luck today Eagle fans.

As usual, I'm nervous about this one, as I've been for all of 'em this season.

This really could go either way, and Chris Berman wouldn't make it one of his weekly picks, meaning he thinks it's too close to call.
