Me and my sister are going to the top of Mt Washington and letting the wind take my Mothers ashes. It gives us both finality and that's what she would have wanted. My Mom was very into nature and grew all her own herbs, sometimes looking up at the sky and saying" Today's wind is a good wind" my sister may not of said it but I think this is what she came here for. Now she can move on.

The wind flows in one direction up there and it should do the job nicely.

That sounds lovely Mags. It's really nice that you and your sister can do it together, according to your mom's wishes.

My mom wants us to spread my dad's ashes with hers, on a road to the Pala casino. He hated the casino, but really did like driving her there in his Corvette.

In the meantime, he's been resting in a box in a closet since September 2007. I kinda wish we could have spread his ashes over the ocean a long time ago, but mom rules and I understand her way too.

Thank you. It went well and my biggest concern was a swirling wind but it was going about 30mph in one direction and they went out quite a ways off into the mountains. They don't say not to let them go there and say it should be discreet. There were not many people in that area and we stood there for 20 min just looking and thinking. Again, thanks Mock is the only place I feel I can say these things. and it fills my need to get it out.
