My drive way is a mud pit - Maggot - 03-12-2022

I have to put my truck in 4WD to get in and out. The Professor has a nice landing pad. I lost my shoe once when I got out. I will probably borrow a plow to smooth it out in a few weeks. Plant some grass or something.

It's like that here on the farm too once you get off the blacktop.

I will check it out and see how it does in the winter climates. Frost heaves destroy tar around here.

yup, or crushed rock, the 6 is the grade (size). this stuff is the base for every highway you've ever been on. and it's cheap, like $10 - 20 per ton. a 15' wide x 60' long x 3" deep drive way would use 15 tons tops. that's 2 dump trucks

I will look into it. I just talked to a guy that has a trailer that used it. i will ask him if the snowblower tosses the stones in the winter.
