JB just wrote over at 24 something about possible drug OD. Autopsy tomorrow. Heard statement one of his brothers gave about a half hour ago. He even suggested it may not be Cardiac Arrest, and they would know for sure after autopsy

I bet he had hepatitis C.

My money was on Walter Cronkite to go after Farrah. I guess I would have lost that bet.::dunno::

Excerpt:

"LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Michael Jackson the singer was also Michael Jackson the billion-dollar business. Yet after selling more than 61 million albums in the U.S. and having a decade-long attraction open at Disney theme parks, the "King of Pop" died Thursday at age 50 reportedly awash in about $400 million in debt, on the cusp of a final comeback after well over a decade of scandal."

You can't live in a fantasy world squandering millions week after week, paying endless legal bills to keep your molesting ass outta jail and still expect to have money..

With music he may have been a genius, with money he was a fool

I liked the Thriller video...........that is all.

I feel for the kids, they after all have lost a father regardless of what a freak he was.

I had an instinct those comeback concerts in the UK would never happen for some reason, some are saying it was the pressure of these upcoming concerts that may have led to his death.

What do Michael Jackson and caviar have in common?

They both come on little white crackers!

Ba-doom.

You fuckin' people are worse than the goddamn paparazzi & that's really saying something. ::finger::

I also feel no empathy for his family either. They sponged off him and his sister for years. His father was an abusive SOB and they helped foster his freakishness and drug habits.

The father abused all his children so he can gain off their talents. The children were in such fear of him that they allowed him to bully then all throughout their adult life.

Sorry Duchess, I have no empathy for this family.

LaToya was the only one with the balls to stand up to the clan.

The thing that twists me is this--we have talked here in the recent past about how crazy us "real people" get when a celebrity dies. You know..the crying the "grief" over someone who would have not given a rats ass if one of US died.

That being said, the reality is, Jackson was a cultural icon of the 80's. He did define a lot of what 80's music was about. The one about him opening the doors for black musicians on MTV was said to death yesterday.

But, when all is said and done, who remembers that we lost another cultural icon, from the 70's yesterday, in Farrah Fawcett. Time that could have been taken speaking of her role in entertainment culture and fads (the hairdo, that poster) has been overshadowed by him.

Now I know we cannot pick when we die, and he could not have sat back and said, well, it is really not a good day to die, because of Farrah.

In the grand scheme of life, it is no big event because two people died yesterday..among all of the other people who died who won't rate more than a few lines on an obit page (if that), or with the economy and the war etc.

I guess I have too much time on my hands today and am way overthinking this. So I guess I will just hop off my soap box and go surf somewhere else for a while.

I actually could give a rip about any of it but, I needed to tell somebody, anybody, to get fucked & given that I'm all alone here my Mock family was next in line.

Michael Jackson died at 3:15 which is ironically when the big hand touches the little hand.

Reports of Michael Jackson dying from a heart attack are untrue. He was actually in the children's ward having a stroke.

Really, what did this bitch bring to the world besides shit poor acting abilities and giving the boys something to beat-off to?

I really don't understand why 'celebrities' get all the mourning when 'regular' people don't. Fuck, everybody's gonna die sooner or later so WTF's the big deal?

- LuMPyPussy - 06-26-2009

I was very upset when Natasha Richardson died, but these two haven't made a dent in my emotions.

- OnBendedKnee - 06-26-2009

When I was a kid back in the 70's I'd jack-off to Farrah's poster worried that I'd go blind.
Seeing what she looked like right before her death makes me wish I had.
