RE: walking while black - Trayvon Martin - ZEROSPHERES - 09-09-2013 RE: walking while black - Trayvon Martin - sharit - 09-09-2013 Damn, Karma was swift! Take his gun away. RE: walking while black - Trayvon Martin - HairOfTheDog - 09-09-2013 To me, Shellie Zimmerman sounds genuinely frustrated and scared for her father in her 911 call, below: After conferring with her attorney, Shellie recanted her story that George had his hand on his gun the whole time he was threatening her family. Regardless, I believe that George Zimmerman is indeed unstable. Not based on this incident alone, but on the combination of incidents that keep putting him in the spotlight. JMO. Of course, none of it is ever actually his fault/responsibility. RE: walking while black - Trayvon Martin - ramseycat - 09-09-2013 I want this fuck to lose his gun this time. Why was he given his gun back anyway?? RE: walking while black - Trayvon Martin - username - 09-09-2013 (09-09-2013, 08:23 PM)ramseycat Wrote: Why was he given his gun back anyway?? RE: walking while black - Trayvon Martin - ramseycat - 09-09-2013 Clearly they should not let him carry a fire arm. He knew that would scare the shit out of them. The cops had to tell the body guards to move, wtf! He has body guards, George has not worked in over a year, right? How can he afford body guards. Surely all the donations are spent by now. RE: walking while black - Trayvon Martin - sharit - 09-10-2013 Who was the woman in the truck with George, and why were Shellie and her father so shocked to see her? RE: walking while black - Trayvon Martin - Duchess - 09-10-2013 (09-09-2013, 08:23 PM)ramseycat Wrote: Why was he given his gun back anyway?? You're kidding, right? Why would they keep his gun? RE: walking while black - Trayvon Martin - ramseycat - 09-10-2013 It was a rhetorical question. However, that gun killed a teenager. I would think that George wouldn't even want it. But no. He goes back to carrying daily. RE: walking while black - Trayvon Martin - Duchess - 09-10-2013 George thinks he's a badass now. It's probably only a matter of time before he draws his weapon on another person and/or someone draws theirs on him. We haven't heard the last of that fuck. RE: walking while black - Trayvon Martin - Jimbone - 09-10-2013 Just as I thought... much ado about absolutely nothing. You guys are ridiculous. George is a total douche, but this smelled like a complete set-up for the coming divorce proceedings from the very first news clips. Protip: when 'victims' aren't talking to police and are awaiting the arrival of their attorney, it's a sign that something is amiss. I think they should send a bill to Shellie and George for the officer's time wasted responding to this call for 'help'. RE: walking while black - Trayvon Martin - Duchess - 09-10-2013 (09-10-2013, 10:10 AM)Jimbone Wrote: You guys are ridiculous. I'm prepared to think the worst of George every single time he's in the news. I don't like that rotten, little fuck and I sure as hell don't wish him well. I can (and have) moved on from the trial but that surely doesn't preclude me from thinking the worst of him. RE: walking while black - Trayvon Martin - Jimbone - 09-10-2013 (09-10-2013, 10:18 AM)Duchess Wrote: I'm no fan of his either... but his wife looks like a cut of the same cloth. Wasting LEO's time on their stupid bullshit is nauseating. RE: walking while black - Trayvon Martin - HairOfTheDog - 09-10-2013 (09-10-2013, 10:10 AM)Jimbone Wrote: Just as I thought... much ado about absolutely nothing. I can think of several reasons that she would confer with her attorney and drop the "gun" issue that was recorded in the emergency call. One of those reasons being that it was a set-up related to upcoming divorce proceedings. That's possible, but I don't think it's the case with yesterday's call. JMO. Your presumption that you somehow know more about the situation and that your opinion is fact and everyone else's is ridiculous is what I find ridiculous. Yeah! What she said! Fair enough HotD. I guess if I start placing JMO on my posts, you'll get off my balls. Because when I post, it is just my opinion. I thought that was a given here... but maybe not. RE: walking while black - Trayvon Martin - HairOfTheDog - 09-10-2013 ^ If you make a post asserting that a group of people are ridiculous in their opinions, it doesn't take much foresight to predict that you'll get some replies challenging your assertion/opinion in return. Don't cite opinion as fact when it comes to elements of a case; easy long-standing LC rule in the crime forum. I don't think you have a problem with it. As for your presumptions regarding the validity of other posters' comments/thoughts, yeah, it's clear that it's only your opinion and doesn't require being labeled as such. Others are free to respond in kind. P.s. there's nothing here for you to fret about, Jim. I'm not inclined to get anywhere near your balls, promise. RE: walking while black - Trayvon Martin - Jimbone - 09-10-2013 Well I don't really see where I was saying anything was fact... I was commenting that the whole story seemed suspicious. And yes, my opinion is that it was ridiculous that no one seemed to be considering the whole call may have been bogus. That's why I said people were being ridiculous. Because now that it turns out there wasn't a gun according to police, and Shellie has recanted everything on the advice of her lawyer, it is ridiculous, isn't it? And I'm not worried about my balls in the least... it's your game, I just have to play by the rules better apparently.
