As far as I can tell all that money was donated. So, if the money is returned George would get to keep it for himself, right? I don't want him to have it, I don't want him to have anything. I don't give a fuck that he wasn't convicted, I still want him to suffer.

One of his attorneys said he can't work for at least a year or two. Why the hell not?

His wife's trial will be coming up soon. How funny would it be if she goes to jail while he is free?

I think there are concerns over who would even hire him & then the employer has to give some thought to the co-workers reactions and other things related to that.

Personally, I'd laugh if she were convicted & sent to the slammer all because she lied to help him hide the money. I would find that very amusing.

He is a stupid fuck. He would have better of if he were convicted. A place to stay. Three meals a day. Tv, a gym, a library. Maybe job training. No guns though. He wouldn't like that.

You haven't been around jails much have you?
There is no day in a jail anywhere that is better than outside.
If he collects he can afford all that and then some.

Looks like Shellie is getting probation

http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/loca...8738.story

SANFORD – Shellie Zimmerman, the wife of acquitted murder suspect George Zimmerman, will today plead guilty to a less serious form of perjury in a plea deal that will require her to serve one year of probation.

It was a negotiated deal, designed to leave her with no criminal record. The 26-year-old was a nursing student nearly done with her schooling at the time of her arrest. Had she been found guilty of a felony — the perjury charge she was facing — she would have been banned from applying to become a nurse for three years.

The deal also requires her to write a letter of apology to Circuit Judge Kenneth Lester Jr., the judge to whom she was accused of lying, and to serve 100 hours of community service.

The official charge filed against Shellie Zimmerman is perjury during an official proceeding - of lying during one of her husband's bond hearings last year. That's a third-degree felony, which carries a possible five-year prison term.

She told Lester that she and her husband were broke when, in fact, they had taken in more than $130,000 in donations in just over two weeks from Internet donors wanting to help Zimmerman defend himself against a murder charge for killing Trayvon Martin.

However, she had no prior criminal record, and Assistant State Attorney John Guy of Jacksonville agreed to allow her to plead guilty to the lesser charge of perjury in an unofficial proceeding. That's a misdemeanor, punishable by a maximum of 12 months in jail.

Guy works for Special Prosecutor Angela Corey, the lawyer appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to handle George Zimmerman's criminal case.

Recorded phone calls made by George Zimmerman from the Seminole County Jail show that in the days just before the bond hearing, he and his wife talked about those donations, and he directed her to move money between various credit union accounts and to put some in a safety-deposit box.

However, the two talked in code, referring to $10 when they meant $10,000, according to prosecutors.

The couple's financial records from that same period show the money being transferred between their accounts and those of at least one other close family member, generally in $10,000 increments.

A six-member Seminole County jury acquitted George Zimmerman last month of second-degree murder in Trayvon's death. He's the unarmed black 17-year-old who was killed Feb. 26, 2012, in Sanford.

The hearing is to begin after 9 a.m. Check back for updates.

Thanks, Six.

Yep, Shellie pleaded guilty to misdemeanor perjury this morning. There was no denying the perjury given the evidence, but she got a pretty sweet deal, IMO.

So, no felony record for lying under oath to the court, no jail time, no fines.

An apology letter to the court, community service, and a year's probation. Ah well, better than nothing, I guess.

Bet the Zimmermans are all smiling again today.

Wonder if she feels like she's taking the fall for George; he told her to lie and hide the money. But, he's not the one who lied about it under oath, so she's the one paying the price (which I think should be higher).

George Zimmerman's wife says she's going to have to "think about" whether she stays married to him.

Shellie Zimmerman made the comments to ABC on Wednesday after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor perjury charge for lying during a bail hearing following her husband's arrest for the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in February 2012.

She also said she wasn't home the night of the shooting because she'd had a fight with her husband.

She says the couple lived "like gypsies" in the months after George Zimmerman was released on bail, spending nights in a 20-foot trailer deep in the woods.

Her husband wasn't in court with her as she was sentenced to a year's probation and 100 hours of community service.

hah I cringed when I read that. I don't understand people who put their personal biz out there in the manner she is, she told the entire nation the state of her personal relationship. Ugh.

We'll probably read about their impending divorce before the new year.

I think she is trying to distance herself from George. He is a pariah and can't even work. She is probably tired of living in an RV and just wants a normal life. Because of his stupidity she has had to suffer right along with him. Their marriage was already in trouble before the shooting. This was the last straw. She stood by him only as long as she had to. Now she is done and I don't blame her.

George Zimmerman was pulled over for speeding (again) today in Florida.

Unlike the cop in Texas, the Florida cop gave him a ticket.

I'm really starting to believe that Zimmerman just craves attention and is finding ways to stay in the news. He's certainly not hiding in seclusion, afraid to leave his house. The contention (perpetuated by George, his attorneys, his family, his fans...) that he was so afraid and would be forced into isolation was a bunch of bullshit, imo.

Zimmerman's been out and about right since he was acquitted. He's free, he can do as he pleases, that's how it works.

But, he's not being followed by reporters covering his every move as he discreetly carries on out of the spotlight. Instead, he's doing something that can get leaked and puts him in the public eye every couple of weeks.

Minor car accident right after acquittal and George is out of the car to assist (reported to the media by his team for PR, imo). Then George is pulled over for speeding in Texas, carrying a gun. Then George tours the Kel-Tec gun factory and poses for photos. Then George gets busted for speeding again.

I think that the last thing George Zimmerman really wants is to live his life privately and fall off of the public's radar. JMO.

Some of Shellie's interview. No surprises at all -

George Zimmerman's wife, Shellie, said she stood by her man "through everything" but once he was acquitted of murder charges in the 2012 shooting of teenager Trayvon Martin, he left her with "a bunch of pieces of broken glass."

Zimmerman, who filed for divorce from George Zimmerman on Thursday, told ABC's "Good Morning America" in an interview aired Friday that her husband is selfish.

In the interview, she said her husband only stayed in their house three or four nights since the trial ended in July and that they even tried counseling but she moved out Aug. 13.

"I have a selfish husband and I think George is all about George," she said.

"I have been married to a person for about seven years and I don't think I ever really knew him at all."

She says her husband was verbally abusive toward her and that he has been making what she considers "reckless decisions." She didn't specify what those decisions were. "In my opinion, he feels more invincible" since his acquittal, she added.
