Cracker, I once worked with the male version of the woman you describe although he was a partner in the company and a fucking megalomaniac. I was a partner too but he was slightly senior to me (although not my direct boss). I hated that prick with a passion and I almost wish I had gone postal on his ass when I left but he had the senior partner's ear and I didn't want to totally burn that bridge or ruin my references.

I say--hate away. Some people just deserve hating.
