Last one, just because I saw the bowl in the fridge:
Reuben Dip:
1 lb. deli shaved corned beef (the good stuff)
1 lb. swiss sliced thin
1 bag or jar (get the kind from the cold food case, not the cheap shit) sauerkraut (yes, part German, eat a lot of kraut), drained
1 cup Hellman's mayo (or Best Foods, depends where you live)
Finely chop beef and cheese. Mix it all up in a bowl and heat in microwave or oven until it is heated through. Serve with fresh, crusty french bread or rye bread. (You can mix in a little Thousand Island dressing, too, if you want.)
And the famous middle-of-the-night-artichoke-dip:
2 cans quartered artichoke hearts in water, drained, chopped up
8 oz Parmesan cheese
1 cup Hellman's mayo
Stick in the microwave for five minutes, salt and pepper to taste, eat on crusty french bread.
I sound like a total fatass, I know. I am in charge of bringing snacks because none of my friends cook. They would just eat chips and french onion dip and hotdogs all the time if I didn't bother.
