That's your opinion and wont knock you for it. I however feel much differently.
I gave my children firearms at 6, my grandson at 6 and my godson at 8. Both my son and god son have entered the military , excelled at marksmanship and done tours in Iraq, Afgan as well as a peace keeping tour in Egypt. My grandson, now 9, can safely load, fire and clean his own firearms.
I was given my first firearm at the age of 7. Not just to shoot but it was actually a Christmas gift. I learnt at a very young age what a firearm can do and no matter how anyone feels about my pro gun stance, I am responsible with them. Now should every child be handed a gun? Oh hell no. There are some out there that would never learn how dangerous they CAN be.
But like I said, you have your opinion about this and I have mine.
