Sure, Mags, I know the difference between dirty and clean, peaceful and violent, childish and non-childish.  There's no need for me to 'think now' or at anytime to understand what you wrote. 

No doubt some protests have been and will be more peaceful, less inconvenient, more clean......than others.  That's just a given and doesn't affect what I posted.   

Like I said, it's a fact that people from both sides of the political spectrum have participated in protests, and it's my opinion  that exercising that constitutional right is not inherently childish (regardless of the cause or who's protesting - right, left, both, others - doesn't matter).

Anyway,  as we've discussed before, if violence or other crimes go down in the course of a protest (or in any other context), I'm all for the offenders being held appropriately accountable under the law.
