For all those that still have a Mother call her and spend some time talking, for those that have lost theirs remember the memories and know that she always loved you.
I grew up with 4 brothers and 1 sister and one day we were picking on my Mom because we thought she didn't know how to ride a bike. she showed us wrong and said "give me that bike, I'll show you" So she took my brothers bike because it was the biggest and went down the hill we lived on, it was a fairly steep hill and we were even afraid to go down it full throttle. Off she went down the hill and as she picked up speed at the bottom sure enough the front wheel started wobbling and she screamed as she went ass over teakettle onto the pavement.
We ran down and as she was standing up the bike had landed in the bushes, her entire side and part of her face was covered in blood and dirt and just a bloody mess. She broke her glasses and as we ran to her she was brushing off the dirt that was embedded in her arms, face and leg.
We asked if she was OK and she just laughed and said "How was THAT!" She looks at the bike and says "You better get your bike Mike" and strutted up the hill as if nothing happened, broken glasses in her hand and all. We looked at each other and never fucked with her again,
