I look at it this way, Pappy: socialism = socio-economic empowerment. When people do socialism, like trade unionism or cooperatives, it's beneficial for society. When governments do socialism, you see the opposite: society is weakened and gradually subsumed as government becomes empowered.

Fascism as I understand it was developed by the Vatican, which I consider to be an ungodly institution, almost the polar opposite of the Social Gospel, which was subsumed by marxists (state socialists), and has now become critical social justice theory. Today, now that the global game of monopoly has reached it's conclusion, we see that the financial elite have embraced surveillance capitalism, which probably should be called surveillance socialism. It doesn't much matter because at bottom it's cybernetics. Understanding that, everything happening now makes perfect sense. That's what has to be rooted out if we're to turn things around, and that's a tall order. The good news is that it's an incredibly complex undertaking, so there are many, many ways that it could fall apart, in which case these assholes will end up hoist by their own petard.

as I said, there are many theories and "words", but the simple fact is the difference is freedom. pursue happiness as you wish, just don't violate others rights to pursue happiness as they see fit. frankly, I couldn't care less what the world does; I am only interested in what the US does. 

rooting out marxism will be difficult because they are entrenched in our way of life. the conservatives I know have written off this generation; they are joining together to properly educate the next generation. they are spending large sums of money in this effort. 

Ronnie Raygun said it: freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. 

COS Action will continue to educate state legislators on their Constitutional duties; hopefully, we get to 34 before WW3 starts. the bad news for us, once we get to 34 our work will actually begin.
