(01-27-2023, 08:12 AM)Piglet Wrote: Blue, you say i like to take a punt at the US, which is your way of avoiding the issue at hand.  So what is that?      Your doctors discharge people onto the street, ill, and with nowhere to go.  How a doctor can do that is beyond me, its their job to care, not be a lackey of big business.

If a vulnerable person was discharged onto the street here, all hell would break loose, and rightly so, that is totally unexceptable in our society.  Can i engage your conscience  on that observation?, or are you going to deflect.?

Britain is like a parent, we have learnt, like a parent, that all family members should be treated equal, not only those with money.  The NHS here is in big trouble, huge amounts of money goes in, with a dwindling return of huge waiting lists, bearocracy etc.

As for slavery, you seem to have a perfectionist attitude, so what if britain broke a few crocks growing up.    We invented concentration camps during the Boer war, an honest mistake not to be repeated.    Some Irish historains reported that a few irish civilians got killed during the wars in Ireland, an event that was an accident, and the reporeted massacre of civilians was a lie.

Which has poisoned relations since.      As for America, you only won because you had frogs on your side, those weevily, ten faced,  rodent like, flea invested crotches, cockroaches.

And you have inherited there proclivaties, like hypocracy, trickiness, loutishness, arrogance, blathering, rudeness, insolence, baboon like behaviour, skunkism, and a hamster from Brooklyn.

I will have to decipher that hamster jibe, cowardice.    And you blue, a pygmy from  Arizona, and your lineage is frog like.  As for the London school of economics, how far did they get?

What an utterly adorable, squealing, little piglet, you are!  With a snort-snort here and a snort-snort there!

Overlooking your histrionics and rampant typos, I’ll attempt to address your scintillating and absolutely riveting post . . .  and its “pearls of unparalleled wisdom and myth”.  Before I begin, taking a punt or a poke (at the US, anyone, or anything), is merely expressing an opinion or observation.  A response is optional.  NOT responding is NOT avoidance.

Only a self-centered twit demands or expects a response.

1.)  DOCTORS DISCHARGING VULNERABLE PEOPLE ONTO THE STREET WHO HAVE NO HOME

You asked what is my “conscience” regarding your statement.  Unaffected.  You are obviously unaware (or conveniently have forgotten) the United States is a country with laws . . . if laws exist and are not enforced or ignored, that is the real issue.  As you seem to be keen ("OBSESSED") with researching and pontificating about mental health, may I suggest you devote a bit of time to study our US Code, Title 42, Chapter 102, Subchapter IV, Subsection 9501.

It’s a tad long.  However, I believe you might be surprised with the rights granted to our “vulnerable people” and with your supposition “doctors” discharge them, to the streets. Feel free to contrast and compare your own Mental Health Act, with ours . . . specifically addressing the discharge of patients, who have no home.  AND KEEP IT TO YOURSELF!

For the love of all that is sacred and holy . . . PLEASE . . . KEEP IT TO YOURSELF!  Or, PM Aussie . . . she's like you . . . emotional, scholarly and deep!

2.)  BRITAIN IS LIKE A PARENT . . . ALL FAMILY MEMBERS SHOULD BE TREATED EQUALLY, NOT ONLY THOSE WITH MONEY

Well . . . from your description of the NHS, I’m convinced that Britain is an unfit parent when it comes to caring for the health and well-being of her family.  And “Mum” plays favorites with her offspring, doesn’t she?  Yeah . . . she does!  It must hurt when some privileged posh liberal . . . or a person of color . . . jumps the queue and lengthens your wait time for needed and deserved services.  Or . . . receives better services, than you!  I feel for you, Porky.  I do.

However . . . Not my elephant; Not my circus.

3.)  SLAVERY – CONCENTRATION CAMPS – THE IRISH

Imagine hearing the next sentence in the voice of Bad Orange Man: “My Cromwell statement was perfect and undeniable!”   C'mon Pork-Chop, face it for what it was . . . 17th Century white slavery and attempted genocide . . .  all for the Monarchy’s financial and political benefit.  The American colony was a benefactor.  Britain’s financial and ideological support, for the Confederacy (during our Civil War), remains a paradox, to me.    Again . . . I don't care what you think!  It's my paradox and I'm selfish.  PLEASE PIGGY . . . DON'T RESPOND!

The Brit’s didn’t invent “Concentration Camps”.  That term was first associated with the Spanish . . .  before the Boer Wars.  We were second.  Too bad, so sad . . . you were third . . . and barely deserve a participation trophy.

Coupled with your Irish tripe, I found this section to be exceptionally incohesive, disjointed and a complete bore.  Seriously . . . it reads like you suffer from aphasia.  Get help!  Ohhh . . . I forgot . . . NHS . . . Sorry.  My bad.

4.)  AMERICA AND AMPHIBIANS

You only won because you had frogs on your side”  . . . Are you talking about America’s War for Independence and France’s participation?  Hey!  Boar-Boy . . . a Win is a Win!  I guess you underestimated the French as a fighting power, after they willingly ceded Canada.  Your Germans were worthless as mercenaries.  Just bad luck, I guess.  But we were there, in WWI with the French, to put a Win in your column!

When England’s football team gave the ol’ Nazi salute, at a match against Germany, in Berlin (1938), I’ll bet "Daddy" thought all was forgiven his family was safe!

5.)  LSE - HOW FAR DID THEY GET

Not far . . . only a few “slap and tickle” sessions, with a sweet and charming boy, from Kent.

Now . . . back into the “emotional room” you go!
