Well, that didn't take long.
Duong was cooperating with police after he turned himself in yesterday and LE knew the two remaining inmates were in Northern California. They were focused on San Jose and Fresno, but Nayeri and Tieu were actually here in the city.
This morning, pedestrians recognized the two men near the McDonald's on the corner of Haight and Stanyan in San Francisco (next to Amoeba Records and across from Golden Gate Park). The pedestrians had seen their mugshots on tv after the escape and called police
A brief chase ensued, but both men are now in custody again. Good.
