My liver ultrasound came back normal, great. I didn't even go there for my liver, he just ordered it because the routine blood work was abnormal. My bladder ultrasound came back abnormal. Inflamed and covered in growths, but he thinks it's just cystitis. Great. He referred me to a urologist and they scheduled the appointment for Dec. 2^nd and then called me back and moved it to the 23^rd. In the mean time all I can think is that it's cancer, especially now that my periods are weird all of the sudden. But that's probably from the mental stress of thinking I have bladder cancer.

I was just teasing about the hypochondria, because you stated you thought you had ebola a few weeks back.

Stress causes the body to do all sorts of weird things. It can cause your period to be fucked up-a lot of brides get their periods on their honeymoon, because the stress of planning a wedding causes their system to go out of synch.

Stress can also cause hives, hair loss, psoriasis, phantom aches, weight loss/gain and a slew of other things.

On another note, I had a bladder ultrasound last year because of abnormal bloodwork. They put a catheter in you and fill your bladder up to the point that if feels like it's going to bust, Than they take the ultrasound wand and push down on your bladder until you pee all over the table. Have fun with that.
