WANNA SCORE LIBERALLY?!
#1
This quiz, titled "HOW LIBERAL ARE YOU?" was linked to a news story that I was reading. Very well done survey/quiz.

http://www.isidewith.com/political-quiz

It didn't take long, about 10 minutes.

Just choose how significant the issue is to you on the left, and answer the multiple choice questions (select "choose another stance" for answers with qualifiers - I did that for most).

Didn't expect the results to be so comprehensive and end up categorizing me according to party affiliation for each issue.

Wasn't surprised to see that overall I side with Libertarians the most, but some of the other scores surprised me a little (but found them mostly accurate when I read the explanation).

If you take it, post your top level results if you dare.

This one flubbed up somehow and says I'm a republocrat of the republican type.

I'm actually a libertarian like the majority of Americans.

We are not being represented in Washington.

Well, sal, if she gets the nomination in 2016 that she wanted in 2012, your Green Party presidential candidate will be:

I was 66% socialist. Kind of resenting that shit. Socialist sounds so raw to me. I'm hurting. I feel so isolated, no one is cooperating with me. Where did I go wrong?

My results have shocked me. I've always felt that I sit somewhere in the middle but leaning more to the right than the left. According to this, I side 84% with Democrats.

Hey Clad -- what leads you to believe that the majority of Americans are libertarians? I've seen wide ranging estimated percentages of the number of citizens who have some libertarian views (specifically when it comes to marijuana legalization and non-interjection in foreign conflicts). But, wouldn't imagine the majority to hold libertarian views across the board, based only on the small slice of the population that I see, hear, or read about. Just curious regarding your take.

I like a lot of Ron Paul's stances. For a while a couple of years back, I thought that his son Rand might be someone who could run in 2016 as a legitimate Libertarian candidate for president - but he's since turned me off in a huge way on several issues and I view him much more as a Tea Party Republican at this time.

Any libertarian leaders/politicians who you think might help to expand Americans' voting options from two parties to three parties by 2016 or 2020? It's long overdue, IMO.

I think I'm in the middle leaning towards the right also...now I'm scared to take the test. I don't want to have to hang my head in shame. hah

I cannot stop thinking that the poll is absorbing information as a collective and feeding a huge "Jabba the Hut" thing though.
