On that religious vein...there is a woman whose daughter attends the same school as one of my daughters, they live on the same road as us as well. She went through a particularly messy divorce a couple years ago and somehow I ended up being her listening ear. She is a mad, card carrying, religious freakball. She has pushed her religion on me numerous times and I've always set h er straight that there is no God in my world.
Anyways...to cut a long story short, the listening ear thing has extended to all the gory details of her recently resumed sex life. She can't tell all her churchy pals because they'd be mortified obviously, but she obviously thinks these secrets are too wicked too keep. This has now graduated to fucking a different guy every other week as well as the junkies side of things like fudging, golden showers and the latest one, a spit roast. Its like the inner slut has been released. At first I tried subtle hints that I didn't really need to hear all this shit, then tried subject changes, to avoiding her to the mlast time wher I was just plain rude...inferring that I thought she was a hypocritical whore.
She seemed to giggle and reply that saying sorry on Sunday more or less gave her a free pass for her behavior. Now I'm not one to dictate how anyone should conduct their life; she can shag herself silly for all I care, but it makes me giggle how she justifies this to Her 'God' now that she can't control the urges anymore..
