one of my sons decided to make Southern sausage gravy biscuits today. i have never had that, but have seen them often in the South of course. he used jimmy dean sage sausage, grands biscuits, flour, milk, salt, pepper. so i tried one. i feel like there is a lump of asphalt in my tummy. it tasted good, but god i could not eat that again!
i can see how this was poor people food, fill up those chilluns.
