Justice for Shaniya Davis

Been following this case for years, since Shaniya was first reported missing by her mother and police showed video of a suspect caught carrying Shaniya out of a motel on surveillance cam. Her body was found dumped by the roadside a few days later.


RIP Shaniya

It's been a long time coming, but the jury got it right and found her killer, Mario Andretti McNeill, guilty last week.
Yesterday, the jury also sentenced him to death, in under 30 minutes. Shaniya's father and brother have been waiting for this for four years.

Prosecutors said in 2009, McNeill took the child from her Fayetteville (North Carolina) home to sexually assault her at a motel in Sanford before killing her and dumping her body in an area known to be a place where deer hunters dump carcasses just off N.C. Highway 87 near the Lee-Harnett County line.

She will be tried later this year, but prosecutors aren't seeking the death penalty against her (unfortunately).

Investigators say Shaniya's mother, Antoinette Nicole Davis, sold her to McNeill to pay off a drug debt. Davis is charged with first-degree murder, indecent liberties with a child, felony child abuse, felony sexual servitude, rape of a child, sexual offense of a child by an adult offender, human trafficking and making a false police report.

I know, it's heartbreaking sometimes.

But, it's good news that this killer is going to death row and then he'll be executed.

And, Shaniya's so-called mother hasn't got a chance in hell of beating a LWOP conviction, imo.

Many, many people would have felt extremely blessed to have that little girl and her own mother sells her to pay off a drug debt. I'm so disgusted. How do these fuckers get so lucky to be able to breed like a rabbit.
