No, not bothered by it, probably because it doesn't surprise me. Too many Americans think they are safe and that the people in charge have got your back. They don't. There have been a few security breaches in NYC recently and every time it happens some people are shocked and I really don't know why.

Actually when you think about it, I hate to say it, but it's virtually impossible to protect every so called "landmark" in NYC. There are so many, Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty, Empire State building, Times Square, Madison Square Garden, Rockefeller Center Plaza, WTC, Subway system, Circle Line ferries, just to name a few that quickly come to mind. "They", the terrorists, have the element of surprise, with even who knows what they think is a landmark. However, "Home Land Security" needs to get more aggressive, and innovative themselves.
