La Perla (awesome lingerie) felt forced to remove a mannequin from their window because some people felt she was too skinny. A mannequin. Jesus Christ.
The intimate apparel store La Perla had window shoppers in New York wondering if they were marketing a swimsuit ... or an eating disorder.
The bony mannequin, with 'protruding' ribs, put the lingerie store in hot water after someone posted a picture of it to social media.
The photo spread on twitter, where users called it "scary skinny" ... "unacceptable" ... and "irresponsible and harmful" for promoting an unhealthy body image.
According to Yahoo.com, "the Alliance for Eating Disorder Awareness tweeted that the mannequin was "terrible!" -- and even some people in the fashion industry who are used to seeing wafer-thin figures wrote that the mannequin went too far."

If you take the ribs out of the equation, she looks perfectly healthy. She isn't gaunt around the hips or the neck or arms. Stick fish is far from my kind of flavour, but she doesn't look sickly thin. I've see worse real life on a catwalk.

Some people think that mannequin is too skinny. Look at this beautiful girl. Her name is Robyn Lawley, she an Aussie model who is considered plus size. I'm not going to let this make me feel bad but if she's plus size then so am I. What the fuck is wrong with people. I know you can't answer that.

Womens fashion sizes and image has never been governed by common sense, all the sizing is skewed.

Some women are just naturally skinny, I have a friend who looks exactly like that mannequin and she can't gain any weight not matter how much she eats.
