Women, Good Idea or bad Idea . . . . .
#1
. . . . . . . in "combat" rolls in the US "Military"?

Defense Secretary Ash Carter seems like he's nearly made up his mind about opening up "all combat jobs to women". On Tuesday he said that limiting his search for qualified military candidates to just half the population would be "crazy."

The Associated Press said, Carter gave the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff until the end of October to review the services' recommendations on which jobs — if any — should remain closed to women.

So, should/could "women" engage in front line "combat rolls" in the "military? (IDF has them)

I say IDK.

What say you?

Hell yes. If they can go through the same trainings as men, and perform the job well, then do it.

I could see them getting all the "easy" jobs like clerical bookkeeping and things like that but when they have to carry 90Lbs around all day they may have second thoughts.

THAT outta pep things up. hah

I think this is partially the result of two women recently passing Ranger training.

The move to integrate the military's most storied commando units comes the day after news broke that two women had passed the Army's arduous Ranger course. Nineteen women began the course, which has about a 45 percent passing rate.

I've heard it said that women are already on the front lines in various capacities. If that's true, it's just formalizing something that already exists.

One argument against is that male soldiers would be distracted and might take risks in order to "save" women soldiers. I think that's their problem and shows a lack of training if they can't focus on the mission and let their egos, testosterone whatever get in the way of their effectively performing their duties. If they can meet the requirements I say let them fight.

User, I disagree.

Think of Spy.

No amount of training could keep him from focusing on a respectable set of tits.

The mission will always be about "saving the fun bags".
