I'd have wished you a Happy Father's Day, but I think it would have been premature.

Isn't it in August or September in Australia?

Yes, first Sunday in September here.

What's the weather like? I feel that you live in a Bizarro world sometimes and think about you Australians when I'm knee deep in snow. Even when its sunny here I wonder what its like there. You live in a big country and I'm sure it matters where you are though. Just like here.

It's cold in the middle of the country, the desert part, and the southern areas. It's still not too bad in the northern most parts, 70s to 80s up there still, but they don't really get a winter. Too close to the equator up there..

Another year shot in the ass.

Happy Father's Day, Mock daddys. I hope your special day is fun and relaxing and I hope none of you get a tie, UNLESS your wimmens let you use it in special ways.

Have a great day, gentlemen. 27

Aww. Sorry about your pops. That sucks. 72

All the "first without" that first year are tough. I hope your kids spoil you today.

Not a father, but I'll be taking Dad out to dinner later tonight hopefully. I'm glad I can spend time with my 81 year old Dad while he's still here. I was such a lazy shit and fuck up in my younger years with mom and especially Dad....I know this doesn't begin to make up for it, but it's a start.

Happy father's day.

I don't know why my husband always thinks I should treat him special on father's day, he's not my damn dad. He wants me to cook up a big mess. I don't feel like doing that, I want to go out to eat.

Fathers day is great, I get to do anything I want. That means more than a lot, it means that nobody comes to me with their problems and the only thing I have to fix is my cheeseburger.
