Bullshit.

No evidence, just spoonfed proganda talking points. Is there room for ANY original, critical opinion? Why bleat at us and think we will consider it critical thought?

Christmas day of 1992, the New York Times featured a screaming all-caps headline across the top of its front page: Attorney General Bill Barr had covered up evidence of crimes by Reagan and Bush in the Iran-Contra scandal.

I have a question about these parties at Mara Lago and other locations where people are "buying access" to the President of the United States.
Have these sorts of things happened before? Have people, and people from other countries paid for access to past presidents?

If it has been done-I assume it would be a fundraiser type of thing-but in this case it obviously does not seem so. I am mostly speaking to the lady from China incident.

The lady from China thing? So a Chinese lady who bluffed her way into Mar-a-Lago saying that she was there for a Chinese conference and then faked wanting to use the pool and ultimately caught in those lies and with harmful malware and a number of phones ...... now translates "somehow" to ""buying access" to the President of the United States"

I know, I know, that is fucking ridiculous. But some people will make such claims. Stupid, huh?

There are articles stating that is what people are doing. I didn't make it up. I was getting my question in without postingcan article as back up because I assumed most would have read the same articles and also, I assume the forum will crash while I am waiting. So. Now I will post an article or 2. BRB.

I found an answer. I will continue to research because this topic interests me.

Yang, who emigrated from China to the US, reportedly set up a company in 2017 to sell Chinese clients access to the US president and prominent Republican politicians.
Chinese businessmen can buy Trump access – and I should know

Trump also has some cronies at Maralago that have given him "advice" on the Veteran's Administration even though none of them have military backgrounds. People seeking lucrative government contracts also use membership to gain admittance to Trump and he makes a ton of money from membership dues.

They cause epileptic seizures in some people and drive them nuts with the shadows flashing all morning and evening,

It would drive me a bit nuts. They are noisy like a highway all day and night. I don't believe they are better as it takes 125 of them to create the energy of one plant.

He ain't heavy, he's my brother.

Yeah, that would be maddening.  The only wind farms I've seen have been isolated, which is how they should be.

These are near wine country CA.
