NFL 2018
Duchess Wrote:I am happy to have beaten those filthyNewYorkGiants 2 times again this year. Same as last. Hehehe. It's all I wish for at the beginning of every season.

...I can't very well be a smug Super Bowl defender when I'm having a crappy season.

We had wide receivers playing in our secondary yesterday  hah hah hah

So this whole issue of the Skins picking up the woman beater has turned into national news. Turns out Gruden didn't do his due diligence in vetting this guy out before the skins signed him. Only one team actually called the Tampa police where the charges were filed to get the scoop on this guy when the 9er's cut the strings with this POS. That's right... The world champion Philadelphia Eagles made that call and promptly dropped all negotiations. The cowballs will get stomped by the Saints tonight, and with this distraction and their lack of a QB, I can easily see our boys coming away with the W on Monday night. This shit aint over in the NFC East. Not by a long shot. I don't believe we can go deep into the playoffs, but it won't be as dismal as it seemed it would be 3 weeks ago.

BG, things ain’t looking so good for our clubs.

Dallas’ D looks legit, and offensively, adding Amari Cooper has opened everything up.

They’re for real.

In the NFC North, if the Bears go into NJ today and beat the Giants, while my Vikes lose in Foxboro (I expect it), CHI essentially wraps up the division.

The thing is, I feel like the Vikings are as good as they were last year, but can’t get over the hump in big games.

Brady is 4-0 all time against Minny and I don’t think any of the games have been close.

And, for any bettors in the house, I have a great trend for you:

2 weeks ago, 3 teams from MN played teams from Chicago, and lost all of them.

This week, U of M Gophers lost to Boston College, Celtics beat the Wolves and today Vikings @ New England.

Bet the Farm (Duchess).

I just read it reported that the Packers have fired Mike McCarthy. Wooooo. They didn't waste any time after today's game.

I think most people knew he’d be gone, however, I thought he’d get the whole season.

We are pretty much done for the season. We'd have to win every game from here on out. I don't see that happening with the Rams on the schedule. Da Bears lost to the Gmen  hah  so I doubt you need to worry too much about them. Maybe next year our guys can stay healthy and make a run, but I just don't see that happening this year with wide receivers playing in our secondary and practice squad running back corps on the field (although Adams and Clement have played well as of late). I have faith we can beat the skins tonight, but after that all bets are off.

Oh and regarding the Cowballs... Sun shines on a dogs ass every once in a while. Their D had a good game, but they haven't been consistently good all year and I don't see them making a run this year.

I’ m calling it now (and probably jinxing it), but the Rams win it all this year.

At 10-1 they are poised.

I've always liked the Rams. I still have a tough time calling  the Titans anything but the Oilers still.

MS, do you know why the 'Niners long snapper was suspended for 10 games? That's a significant amount of time, I can't find any reporting on it and that's only served to make me more curious.

Well its half time and Miami and N.E. are swapping Td's they each scored 3 td in the first half and Miamis QB was just taken out a slugfest.

Duchess your filthy Giants are mopping the floor with Redskin uniforms as I've been switching between the two.

I'm hoping for a N.E. win to clinch the AFC east.

That will be 10 in a row for your guys.

I'm fine with those filthyNewYorkGiants beating the 'Skins. Apparently it's quite ugly going by what I'm hearing. My game is still more than an hour away. If we lose, my season is pretty much over but we're going to win. *fingers crossed*

WTF! At the last second and I mean 5-7 seconds Miami laterals twice, gets into the end zone and wins. Now I know what the H-bots feel like!. That was some truly miraculous stuff! I wish Belichick called time out he had 2 left at least to dbl. check things. Geez.

Tough loss for Duchess and BG, and an INSANE loss for Maggs.

I expect my loss tomorrow to be very matter-of-fact, and with little doubt as to the outcome.

Why the hell was Gronk out there in pass coverage for that play? Dude looked like he was running through mud trying to catch him. Any DB worth his salt would have chosen a better angle and tackled that runner and it's game over. That one was a real head scratcher.
