Shallow ageist!  ')

Clint Eastwood is one lucky old bastard, if you ask me.

He's still doing what he absolutely loves, he's successful at it, and he has the means to do mostly whatever he wants.

He's got it made compared to most people who wear their belts around their waists or resting just under their beer bellies.

I just checked, he's 88 yrs. old. Good for him. We should all be so blessed.

He is a legend. I've liked his acting since rawhide in 1961.

Well, I've rubbed my Buddhas belly and won 10$ on a scratch off the next day. Just shave it first.

I forgot about one of my favorite Clint Eastwood movies, 'Thunderbolt and Lightfoot'. I caught the last few minutes of it again last night.  It's from the mid 70s and co-stars a very young Jeff Bridges.  Great movie.

Today I watched 'The Post' on HBO -- it wasn't great, but it was really good.  It's the story of the Washington Post's decision to publish The Pentagon Papers, despite being threatened with severe legal repercussions by the Nixon administration.

Has anyone else seen "Joker" yet?

It was a very dark commentary on mental illness and societal unrest, but I liked it a lot.

Joaquin Phoenix seems like one really weird dude, but I always like his acting.

I was going to go see it, but according to fry guy I'm mentally ill so it hits too close too home.

Just kidding. I'll see it eventually on HBO or Netflix.

He is an actors actor and really gets into the part that he plays, the one he did about johnny Cash was good. Another one that gets deep into character is Christian Bale.

I went for a ride yesterday morning, I knew it was going to be a nice day so I wasn't concerned at all about being cold, but I got a chill and stayed that way all fricken day. It sucked ass because it made me not want to be outdoors. I turned the TV on and saw that The Hatfields & McCoys was coming on, it was going to be on all day as it was an old mini-series. Well Jesus Christ, those people were savages. Seriously. They would give Game of Thrones a run for their money. I thought it was a very good movie with a shit ton of graphic violence. It was the first time I saw Kevin Costner be a dick in a film, but keep in mind I can go years without watching a movie so maybe he's a dick in a lot of them.

Clangy, did you go and see Batman? I've seen a bunch of reviews and they are all positive.

I'm starting to think that a person has to be a special type of weird to get dressed up like that and act serious.

I don't go to theaters anymore. I'll watch it when it comes out on HBO Max on April 19th.
