Where the heck is Mags?

With every day that passes I become even more concerned. I don't want to be a flake about this if he's just taking a break from the internet. I understand that! The fact remains that every time he has disappeared he has been hospitalized and that's what I can't stop thinking about. He gave me his phone number a long time ago but what the hell do I say if the Professor answers? Hi there, I'm Elisabeth but you can call me Duchess. I've been spending time with your husband for the past 11 years and I haven't seen him in over a week, is he okay? *face palm* I can't do that. Fucking hell.

I get what you're saying Duchess.

In this case though, I don't think there's anything wrong with calling your friend and right hand man, even if his wife answers.

I'd be surprised if she isn't aware that Mags has spent a lot of time and made a lot of friends here over the last 10 years.

Mags has called me a few times, including last month.  I can find his number in my call log and give him a ring, if you want.

I'm really worried too.

I knew he had spoken to you, that's the only reason you didn't get a frantic email from me. hah  I worry about some of you!

I think it's great that you would offer to call him. I'm more than worried and actually feeling a little scared.

You could say something along the lines that he is one of the moderators at your forum and you haven't seen him in a while so you're just checking since he mentioned having some health problems a while ago. I don't know, something like that. I'd be scared to call lol.

I feel somewhat intimidated. Weird. It's usually little kids that make me feel that way. Good Lord. 78

I looked up his last post.

"Last night I kept waking up every hour from 1am to 6am it was driving me nuts, something must be bothering me or something bad is about to happen. "

Eek!

No problem.  I've been thinking about calling  him for a couple of days now, but didn't want to bother him if he was on vacation (which I hope to God he is).

Today was my deadline for holding off.

If he gets in trouble for my call, he can beat me up in here all he wants and I'll be too relieved to feel the sting.

Maybe you could have a male friend call on your behalf. It may be easier on you that way, especially if Maggs really is sick.

I didn't want to say what I was thinking before, but I guess I will now.

Maggs knows how everybody worried about him during his last long absence, so if he was actually going on a planned long vacation this time, I
believe he would have made mention of it. Even if not only to just you Ms D. Hope I wrong.

I will give him a call. Hand over his number and I will give him a call. What is the worst that can happen?

Well a strange woman has already left a message on his phone, whats it going to hurt if an Australian guy calls him now.

I'm not a stranger to Mags.

Anyway, we're not going to hand over anyone else's phone number or personal information here.

If Mags got the voicemail yesterday.......he knows he's missed, he knows we're concerned, and he knows we hope he checks in soon (which is his choice).

I meant a stranger to his wife in the case that she checks his voicemail. And I dont think you're going to give out his number to Fryguy, I was joking

I knew you were joking about that sal.

I remember Mags sharing that he'd talk to LC on the phone sometimes and also visited her.  I imagine his wife knows he's capable of having platonic friendships and would understand our concern given his health scares over the last couple of years.

Anyway, let's hope Mags is fine and lets us know that very soon.

You ain't kiddin'.

I feel frantic. This is completely abnormal behavior from Maggottyboo. I keep trying to reign myself back in and not borrow trouble but I feel certain that if he could return HotD's phone call, he would and that messes with my head so bad.
