I just went to read a little about it. The national guard shot 13 students and killed four of them. Oh my gods.

To be clear, I'm not unaware that it happened, I've heard about it over the years so I did have some idea.

Is it better to have some freedom rather than no freedom at all? Sure, but only if you use it in a manner that increases it. If it's taken for granted it's nothing more than window dressing. The only rights we truly have are those we can defend.
