DIMMING THE SUN
#1
There are those who are looking into “solar geoengineer” the earth.
By spraying highly reflective particles of material, such as a sulfur
into the atmosphere in order to deflect sunlight so as to cool the planet.

It will be the second most expansive project us humans have ever undertaken.
The first obviously is the ongoing emission of carbon and other heat trapping
gases into the atmosphere.

Solar geoengineering is essentially to mimic what happens when volcanoes push
particles into the atmosphere, thus cooling the world for a year or two.

Needless to say, although many feel this is a viable approach to help
curtail global warming, they are not rushing out to perform this project.

So if they were to put this project out there for you
to vote on it, would you vote for it?
Yes, or no, and why?

I vote yes, global warming is obviously out of control,
and whatever can be done to try to control it should be done.

Can it just be sprayed over my house?

I would rather see other solutions implemented first before this one takes place. This one is a band aid solution, not prevention.

I'd vote yes, if they can get Bruce Willis and his team to do it while an Aerosmith song plays in the background.
