An ant bit me on the ass last night.
Just kidding it was my finger and it might have just crawled over my hand but I screamed anyway and startled the cat.

Carpenter ants. THey love the log cabin and I just thought they were coming in off the wood-which I only leave on the porch and don't leave it inside.

I set ant bait traps for them-away from the cat and inside little boxes. And then baking powder or soda w/ sugar under the sinks.

I've seen less and less of them.
