Have you ever tapped a tree for syrup?

Yes, I have and I just briefly mentioned it in another thread. I did it when I was a kid. A neighbor had a sugar shack and tapped hundreds of trees and when I expressed an interest in it he tapped one of the maples on my parent's property so I could experience it for myself. I thought it was fun, but like I said, it took a fuck ton of sap to make even a tiny bit of syrup.

No, but I remember as a kid drinking a fuck ton of fresh maple syrup samples at the Apple Barn in Vermont. They had good cider donuts, cheese, and candy too.
