Believe me if there were cougars wandering around where I live I would have kept my old shotgun.

Are there any serious wildlife threats in the UK? Large bears? Cougars? Wolves? There are still many areas here where one really does need to keep some sort of protection on hand, either to protect themselves or their livestock.

Unfortunately, often the 'predators' are human ones... with guns. It's gotten out of control really.
