1. A way for a brotha to say he wants to get in your pants
2. A pimp ass way of saying 'what up'
3. May be used to end a conversation

Newp...someone explained it to me. I'll admit that I pretended to understand.

My knowledge of the vernacular among various American ethnic and age-based groups only goes so far.

Speaking of which: Anyone know where Whut a go on comes from?

Distinguished, of course, from 'Holler', which is a redneck way of saying 'small valley'.

ex. "I live up thar in that thar holler".

Although, if a person from the ghetto moved to redneck WV, and lived in a 'holler', calling it a 'holla' there might be some confusion.

Sorry, I don't speak ghetto.

Perhaps Julie knows what Gwen Stefani is talking about when she sings about a "hollaback girl"?

I think Julie might have meant "hola" which means hi in Spanish. By the way, those blueish stones don't look like sapphires, I'd guess Tanzanite.

They're from a site about 'Montana sapphires' and the reason neither one of us can identify them is cuz they're heated treated. All bets are off when the stones aren't natural.
