So I made a belt out of something about as thick as elephant hide that should last about 100 years. It looks pretty good really.

what?

Seriously.

The only thing wrong with it is that you can't really tell it from a store bought one. It took less than an hour work and now that I know how to do it can do it much faster. I've got another thin piece from the same chunk of "leather". I already had the neetsfoot oil. I had to sharpen my tin snips to razor sharp which was the hard part. I used the buckle from the piece of crap Calvin Klien but I could have made my own if necessary. It's distinctive too since I used big copper rivets but these are only visible when I take it off.

It's medium width since "medium" never goes out of style in mens clothing.

New belts will break the first time you wear them if you're extremely active and I had a hard time finding a real one back in 1985 or so when I got my last one. Now the fake belts are so good you can't tellthem apart until they well... ...come apart... after just a few months. They looklike crap and you have to keep going back shelling out more money. In the lenght of time this belt lasts you could spend a whole man day just buying belts.

Screw them.

Of course American industry is so inefficient and make such low quality crap that they can't compete with anyone. This is why they've created barriers that would prevent me fromgoing into business making quality belts at a lower price. They have their buddies in Washington make laws to stop competition. But it's going to be a while until they make you buy their crap. By the time THX 138 looks tame then you'll have to buy crap. My belt will probably be grandfathered in when it becomes illegal to make a real belt for yourself.

I will not buy a piece of crap forever.

It is a good day to die.

So I am going to take your statement "High level dysfunction is as crippling as low level dysfunction" to mean that you were actually agreeing with my assessment.

I prefer to stand alone, there is a much better view from over here.

You lose.

What part of "own" did you not understand?

That which belongs to one: I wanted a room of my own.
v. owned, own·ing, owns

a. To have or possess as property: owns a chain of restaurants.
b. To have control over: For a time, enemy planes owned the skies.

D'oh.

I don't know.

It's something my father probably bought at the flea market a few decades back but he always had strange materials and supplies. I'm still trying to get rid of a lot of it. I suspect it was a piece of leather from an old industrial drive belt and it's extremely thick. A friend says that it's probably just a piece of cow from a thicker part of the skin. I just prefer to think it's elephant.

It's some sort of leather and extremely stong. It was mighty dry too.

What you wrote was a retarded overly long question.

Go back and read it, a fucking question.

What I wrote was a statement of fact and supported by proof.

Wow, interesting coming from the "person" who started a thread about "are you a victim" just a few days ago. Sounds like you are a victim of the universe. Oh poor me, I must deal with other human beings on a day to day basis. blah, blah, blah...

Cracker, Have you ever tried to spend two full days as a positive person? Not just online but in real life. I mean going over the top to be NICE to every person you encounter in the two day period. You might be surprised at how your outlook on life changes.

Enough said....

OMG! This post spoke to me! I have never heard such wise words! It changed my life!

Hahahahaha. I already did the "you never post anything we don't already know" post this week, so I won't repeat. Just know you are an old douchebag. I also sense you have a large nose and facial hairs. And large manly feet you haven't seen in awhile.

Cracker is attractive and funny so I don't have to be nice. You won't understand that, but it is truth.

Poor Moonie. She can't count on any of us to kiss her ass. As I didn't choose to take her cud on for a lifetime, I have to pass that responsibility on to her husband.

Do you think someone married to a person like Moonie is long-suffering or worse than she is? I always wonder.
