Is it necessary to have ED commercials...
#21
My son doesn't pay commercials any attention. When the commercials come on; he just gets up an either comes to bug me or draws a picture. Then again, he is only 8. I'm sure he will bring them up soon enough. My son has no shame. He'd bust out with it anywhere. hah My son can draw like a mutha. I LOVE when he draws me a picture. He takes after his dad because I can't draw for shit. 50

Yes! The 47 side effects! Here take this pill for whatever ails you. Then you will need 852 OTHER pills for the 852 side effects caused by the first pill. And round and round it goes...

Oh and they can't advertise ciggs so as not to influence the young people to smoke. But they can advertise get hard pills cuz that won't influence young people to bang.

I'm not looking forward to takin a shit ton of pills. I hate taking pills. I heard on the radio this morning, while on my way taking my son to school, that every minute tthere is a child born in the US addicted to pills. It's sad these moms care more about popping pills. Not ones that are needed. A damn shame!

hah Well, I might have to disagree with you there. I think "the get hard" pills are hitting the right market - those with ED through an impairment or due to normal aging. Don't think kids are going to be any more or less likely to bang because of those commercials (unless they figure they'd better get to it while they're young and physically aroused by just about everything).

Prescription medications are NEVER advertised on British television.

I hope it stays that way.

Prescriptions aren't free unless you are unemployed, elderly or a child, but you pay the same low price regardless of what drug it is or the amount.

That's how it works here too. Takes the incentive out of advertising if the government is subsidising the cost. It's remarkable how much demonizing we do in America over a system like that. Our medical establishment is fucked in the neck. Broken. UHC is really how to fix it. You have no shortage of fully competent doctors who are reimbursed properly for their expertise? That system WORKS.

6 yrs old??...he's a late bloomer.
I remember when my son found his in the tub the first time. He wasn't even a yr old. He had a little baby hard-on and mommy was horrified and traumatized.
I couldn't get him to let go and he threw a fit when I took him out of the tub...hah
I don't think he has let go of it since...he'll be 25 next month.
