Silly. I enjoy working in my yard. I don't cut acres of grounds, I cut the area I entertain in. I have a weed wacker too.Smiley_emoticons_wink

I learned to drive by stealing a car and driving it several states over (long story) and one of the worst parts of that experience was that in the first few minutes behind the wheel a squirrel committed squirrelcide by throwing itself under my wheels. I learned two lessons that day: first, if you panic and ditch a stolen car, do it inside a town so you don't have to walk as far; and second, if you hit something with your car and you can't stop, under NO circumstances should you ever look into the rear view mirror.

Cut it's legs off, fry them and move along.

I can't stand to see anything die but...

My recently *we dognapped* him Pack member Eli, caught 2 rats within 30 minutes on Tuesday. And treed a possum last night (we drug Eli inside to LET THE POSSUM LIVE).

Needless to say Eli earned his supper this week! And it wasn't ratpie!

GREENVILLE, Ill. – Illinois State Police officials say a 41-year-old woman and her two daughters are dead after a crash on Interstate 70 that happened after the woman stopped her vehicle because of deer on the roadway.

State police say the accident late Thursday in Bond County killed Suzette Lee of Mulberry Grove as well as her two daughters, 8-year-old Lillian Lee and 6-year-old Vivian Lee.

Authorities say Lee was driving east on I-70 when she slowed and eventually stopped her Toyota Camry because deer were crossing the road. That's when her vehicle was rammed from behind by a tractor-trailer.

For my pets, ABSOLUTELY. NO question.

For a strange animal? Depends on the circumstances and how close I could get to saving the animal vs. approaching the line of endangering my own life. I guess I would do the best cost/benefit analysis I could under the circumstances. But I would try my damndest.

I wouldn't risk my life for any old animal but I would for my cats and our new budgie, Zorro.

Daniel and Patricia Cyr, 64 and 61 respectively, drowned while trying to save their terrier after she jumped into Hampton Ponds in Westfield, Massachusetts last night. Though jet skiers on the lake helped take the couple to shore, neither survived. Their pet, however, did, and was taken to a nearby animal shelter.
