Bob Bashara will stand trial on Nov. 12 on charges that he tried to hire a hit man to silence Joe Gentz, whom he allegedly feared could link him to the January slaying of his wife, Jane.

The date was set this morning. Bashara will be tried before Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Bruce Morrow .
