Old people say a lot of weird shit. My 80 year old dad said "I'm glad I don't have a vagina that a fly can fly into. Worse he can do is land on my penis."

Yeah, and tell him if the fly bites his penis, it most likely will grow and get hard! He may like that! C'mon fly! hah

RE: CLUCK CLUCK CLUCK - Clang McFly - 07-25-2016

No he won't like that. It will just give him another reason to complain.

RE: CLUCK CLUCK CLUCK - Duchess - 07-25-2016

I've never had one fly into to my vagina.

I can't tell you how relieved I am to hear that.

Yeah, that's the only thing stopping me. I live on a farm, I have pets, etc. but it doesn't keep me from lusting for it. Pottery Barn has a line of white that has slipcovers that can be removed for cleaning. These aren't your Gramma's slipcovers, they are beautiful rather than cheesy, tacky.

I know what you mean, when I have seen white furniture in books or in brochures here, anything even like that, it's just not an option for me. My animals are anarchists and will have it trashed by the end of the day. It would be a terrible thing, and having them outside is not an option.

Addit: it's gorgeous though, when it's done properly, white decor.

RE: CLUCK CLUCK CLUCK - sally - 07-26-2016

I cleaned a house that was all white décor with purple accents. It was done beautifully and I'm sure by an interior designer.

RE: CLUCK CLUCK CLUCK - Duchess - 07-27-2016

I like white a lot, it's almost my entire wardrobe minus blue jeans, what's left is black. I once saw a gorgeous nursery done in white, I think I posted it in your baby girl thread. Man, I want that white sofa and chairs. Ugh. Be gone thought.

Have any of you ever shopped IKEA?

RE: CLUCK CLUCK CLUCK - sally - 01-01-2017

I went there once to buy my daughter a little table and chair set. I also tried the Swedish meatballs supposedly made with horse meat while there. They were alright. It's a pretty cool store, but it's 50 miles away from me and I can only use so many household goods and do-it-yourself furniture so I don't plan on being a frequent shopper.

RE: CLUCK CLUCK CLUCK - Maggot - 01-01-2017

The tip of a dick could make a nice island in a bathtub for a fly. If he lands rip off his wings and put him back.

RE: CLUCK CLUCK CLUCK - sally - 01-01-2017

So does that mean you have shopped at IKEA?

RE: CLUCK CLUCK CLUCK - Maggot - 01-01-2017

I've never seen one of those around here. What do they sell......bathtubs?

RE: CLUCK CLUCK CLUCK - Duchess - 01-01-2017

All kinds of stuff. Everything from curtains to furniture.

Ikea

Maggot, I know you'll get a laugh out of this, there might be some disgust too. Pottery Barn was selling this stump table for $350, it's on sale for $260 now. hah

RE: CLUCK CLUCK CLUCK - sally - 01-03-2017

My neighbor just cut down his tree and the stumps are out by the road. I could make that for free right now. It would probably be nicer than the coffee table I have right now, but I'd have to stain it and sand it and all that crap and it just doesn't sound like that much fun.

RE: CLUCK CLUCK CLUCK - Duchess - 01-03-2017

Sand it and throw on a protective coat of clear and you're good to go.

RE: CLUCK CLUCK CLUCK - SIXFOOTERsez - 01-03-2017

We got about $1000 worth of that sitting in the shop, got anvils sitting on them

I wonder if they're hollow inside. If so its a good hiding spot for something. maybe drill a 6" hole with a wooden cap about 12" deep. I think its ugly though.
