Vegemite is a little like Marmite, in that it's a savoury, yeast extract based spread, though it is notably different in taste. Same but different, I guess. Many Brits prefer Marmite over the Vegemite, many Aussies prefer the Vegemite. It's what you were bought up with.
Being that most American spreads are sweet and loaded with sugar, it was never going to take off in that market. Even the peanut butter is sweeter in America than here.

It was like this stuff, but less salty with a smoother texture and a rich, deep flavor of roasted meat. It was not bad at all, but like I said it would be something I'd make soup stock with and not a sandwich.

I've always been wary of sandwiches with gravy. It reminds me of the dinner table on Sundays with my Aunt & Uncle. They had napkins but never let us use them. It always went downhill from there.
Though by sitting out in the car alone I somehow formulated my own scheme of retribution. They had a cat..............

It's horrible & very sad. I saw some of the damage & listened to people who had lost it all. It's heartbreaking to see grown men on the verge of tears. It's awful whenever most people cry but for me, more so when it's a man, I know it's bad, very bad then.

I am so fucking tired. Exhausted. Mentally and physically. I want to take a bath in my big jacuzzi tub and drink a bottle of wine.
The nurse is here. She has another nurse here that she is teaching how to put on an unaboot. The trainee is literally standing there doing nothing. She held Mike's leg for about a minute and then asked Mahesh to do it. She was tired. Tired? From standing there watching? I walked out of the room because I was about to go off. You want to talk about being tired lady????

The trainee is not going to be Mike 's nurse. She is just here to learn from Michelle (our nurse) how to put on an unaboot. Otherwise I would say something. Michelle can address it with her if she chooses. I just wonder what she is going to do when she is by herself doing it. Ask the patient to hd up their own leg?

Taste quite similar to the old Bovril crisps they used to sell.
And you can get cheese infused with Marmite.

Ramsey, if you are not comfortable with the student being there and you feel that is not helpful to Mike's healing process, then you have the right to ask the nurse for the student to leave. Comments like "tired" are unprofessional and upsetting to the family. You need to voice that to the nurse because the presence of this particular person is having an adverse affect. Do not lose your temper, stay cool and controlled. Hope this helps.
