I'm reading that the Nashville police neutralized the shooter in 14 minutes and released the body cam footage less than 24 hours later. Uvalde police let the killer shoot for 77 minutes and made legislators sign NDA's in order to view the body cam video.

Fact: we lived in a city of five million people, not once did I ever worry about them going to the mall on their own and not coming home
Fact: Australia still holds the record for the number of people killed in a single gun massacre (reported and factually proven) with a semi automatic weapon
Fact: Not long after that said event the government said ‘We need gun reform in semi automatic type assault weapons’ and you know what, the consensus of the Australian public said ‘Yeah, ok, that seems about right’
Fact: Gun reform in semi automatic assault weapons was legislated in Australia
Fact: There has not been one single mass shooting with said weapons in almost thirty years
Fact: You’re almost more likely to be shot dead in elementary school in America than eaten by a shark or die in a plane crash
Fact: Switzerland, Czech Republic, Yemen, Phillipines and a bunch of other countries has constitutional law that decrees the right to bare arms, similar to that of the US. And a lot of them do, but when was the last time you heard of a school shooting in any of these countries? If it’s only guns that kill people, and not people killing people, then surely, statically, you should all be on the same level?

Switzerland's gun laws are strict compared to ours. You're very unlikely to find twenty semi-automatics in some crazy teenager's basement. Also they hold gun ownership to a higher respect unlike American's who get them just because they're cool and they can.
