Me either but I’ve become more suspicious these days and it STINKS to me that the shooter happened to be transgender.
And even if it’s coincidental, some right wing groups are already pouncing on that information.

I already feel my blood pressure rising just thinking about it.

Within moments of news breaking that the shooter was trans MAGA got on the same page and that's what they are going with, pushing proof that the trans community is so fucked in the head they resort to murder. This will be a very unsafe time for all transgender people, not that in certain places it wasn't already but it's going to be bad now, very bad. I'm usually so much more hopeful but the maga faithful are savages.

So the first question to ask is what medications the person was taking no matter who they are. Trans people are commonly on hormone therapy that can cause a wide range of side effects including mania. Mental health needs to be addressed and also for the trans community.

It’s interesting to me that CNN (at least) is referring to the shooter as “he”. IDK if that’s a sign of the times (bowing to political pressure and that biology at birth is all that matters) or if the shooter was ambivalent about their gender and perhaps didn’t totally identify as female.
