I get it, because of the insane amount of time and money she spends trying to stay, and look young. Aussie has low self esteem about herself...why, it's a mystery. She looks fine.
Stop worrying about what other people are thinking when they look at you Aussie. People will either like you and the way you look, or they won't. No amount of makeup or Botox is going to change that.

I told Aussie right away when she went with her dark hair that she looked great.

I don't mean to turn this into a 'woe is me' thread. I love self deprecating humour. I am always trying to improve myself and grow, I am going to a seminar tomorrow about growth and achieving goals etc. I don't want to go into details or I will get roasted in here.
The 'unworthiness' I am talking about everyone feels on some level, I am able to articulate it in a particular area.
Addit: I recently had something happen in the romance department that wreaked havoc on my self esteem. It was/still is a nightmare, I even bought a packet of cigs, I would love to go an buy another pack now. I wont.

Too true. But I really think that by being open to other people's point of view you can learn and grow about where they are coming from without necessarily agreeing with everything they say.
