I wouldn't grab a sidewalk mattress but I have been known to refurbish and repurpose wooden furniture for needy folks and family members. Americans are wasteful as fuck and we as a nation have forgotten how to fix broken shit instead of just buying more and more and more.

I try not to think about it. I never use the top blanket because I've worked as a maid in hotels before and they don't wash them unless they look obviously dirty. They change the sheets and put the decorative blanket back on. Who knows who was having anal sex on top of that thing.
