I looked this up after you started talking about it. Very sad, I have had alcohol poisoning in the past I thought I was going to die, it's like, it really really can kill you. wow. Maybe he had long term substance abuse issues.

Yeah, according to his bio, Jani Lane had struggled with alcohol abuse for years, done some stints in rehab, got divorced a couple of times along the way, appeared on Celebrity Fit Club, did vocals for some tribute bands in his last years...

He had a teenaged daughter from his first wife and wss married to his third wife when he died of alcohol poisoning in a Woodland Hills Comfort Inn in late 2011. He was 47 years old.

I didn't realize he died. It seems like I saw him on VH1 not too long ago talking about how Cherry Pie was the worst mistake of his career. He was known as nothing other than the cherry pie guy after that.

That pic actually looks good. I saw him on a VH1 game show about a year or two before he died. He had long thin stringy hair, all the makeup the hair bands wore, the stupid outfit, size 2x. He was fat, greasy and nasty.

I never thought he was cute. My Vagina twitched to the likes of David Coverdale, Bon jovi, the lead singer of Cinderella, the lead singer of Slaughter, and my all time favorite...Kip Winger.

I haven't seen any of them except for Bon Jovi for probably 15 years. I don't want to see what they look like now...David Cassidy traumatized me and had me in tears.

^ A little vintage Kip for you, FAHTOO. Beavis and Butthead (yep, I was a fan) sure trolled the hell out of Winger. Never really understood it. I wasn't a fan of the band, but they were on par with most of the other hair bands.
